Where You Can Find Us

Frequently, we are getting messages asking where people can find us! It is so wonderful to feel this vibrant community grow and wanting to connect with each other.

You can also find us on Twitter – The Grief Reality

Here, we share posts (old and new) which we love, as well as other people’s thoughts on grief. There are so many wonderful conversations that go on over there, and it’s a joy to be apart of. This community is a lot smaller than the others, so its a lot easier for us to build connections 🙂

We often take part in discussions about grief with others in the grief community, and the wonderful thing about twitter is how easy it is to join in!

Our DMs are open, so if you wanted to submit a post for As Told By You, you can also do this on our Twitter.

You can find us on Instagram – The Grief Reality

Our Instagram is a wonderfully supportive place. Often we share photos, other grief pages and information on our stories. We also love to engage with you all through polls and questions about your grief. Everything remains completely anonymous, and it is one of our favourite ways of communicating with you <3

Instagram and Twitter are really wonderful places for you to engage with the grief community. People are always sharing personal stories about grief, as well as messages of support and love. It is so lovely to be a part of.

Our DMs are open, so if you wanted to submit a post for As Told By You, you can also do this on our Instagram.

Finally, you can also find us on Eventbrite – The Grief Café

We love hosting the Grief Cafés. Once a month we are able to come together and really talk with you in a way we can’t do over social media. On the platform Remo, you can be part of a larger question and get to know other people in the grief community.

Grief can often feel isolating, lonely and overwhelming. We aim to create a space for individuals to share their stories, or listen to others’ stories about grief. The Grief Café is an environment where everyone has dealt with grief in one form or another, and aims to share their stories and methods of coping within our vibrant online community. It is really important to say here that there is absolutely no pressure at all to talk if you aren’t ready. If you prefer you can just sit back and listen. We are extremely proud of The Grief Cafe, it is one step closer to normalising the conversation about grief.

We are joined by Darren from AfterCloud, Savannah from Serenity Alliance, Laura from Bridging the Gap, and Mac, from FlowForAll. We love this group, and its intention is to simply normalise the conversation around loss and bereavement.

You are not alone. In this pandemic, talking was always important, but with the rise of poor mental health, it’s getting more and more important, as is staying connected with each other and connecting with people who have similar experiences to you.

As always, go gently.

  1. I also wish you were there years ago and I do admire you creating such a forum.. grief needs to be shared it makes us so so sick when it cannot be voiced, expressed and contained by the love and empathy of others.. there is nothing as soul destroying as knowing that others due to their own defences are stone walling you..

  2. Thank you for sharing!.. unfortunately at this time I do not have social media (I use to but had security issues)… perhaps one day I may try again… that being said, will keep and eye on you ladies as best I can, wish nothing but the best in all that you do and may life be all that you wish for it to be!.. 🙂

    Until we meet again,….

May flowers always line your path
    and sunshine light your way,
    May songbirds serenade your
    every step along the way,
May a rainbow run beside you
in a sky that’s always blue,
And may happiness fill your heart
each day your whole life through.
May the sun shine all day long
Everything go right, nothing go wrong
May those you love bring love back to you
And may all the wishes you wish come true
    (Irish Saying)
