Ours is ramen, pasta, pizza and anything else remotely cheesy and unhealthy. Lol

      1. 💜 Just has To Be or Have Chocolate; like Chocolate Covered Pretzels and Mochas et al, I’d be in Heaven at Willy Wonkas Factory

  1. It used to be pizza. But since embarking on a serious weight-loss journey (I have lost over 100 pounds since February 2020), it has become popcorn, which has always been one of my favorite foods, anyway. And it’s not necessarily unhealthy, especially if not drenched in butter. I probably put too much salt on it, though. 🙂 Seriously, though, I eat popcorn with almost every meal. It’s like a substitute for potato chips.

  2. ‘Melkkos’ … and then I remembered, you would probably have no idea what I’m talking about (it’s a traditional South African dish and the name of this dish is in my home language, Afrikaans) 🙃 …
    Let me explain quickly:
Translated, it means “Milk food” … but oh dear, that doesn’t sound very nice, does it?
It’s a dish with its main ingredient being milk, to which you add some flour and butter, cook together for a while and then top it off with cinnamon sugar. My granny used to make it and I’ve enjoyed it since I was a little girl … it brings back such happy memories.
If you have the time, google “melkkos image” and you would probably understand why it’s such a comfort food for South Africans … I think I know what I’m going to have tonight 😊.

    1. I love this comment! It was a joy to read! That’s such a wonderful memory thank you so much for sharing 🤍🤍🤍

  3. Thank you for sharing!.. don’t really have a comfort food but on a gloomy day; chicken noodle soup, any other day; banana bread…. 🙂

    Until we meet again..

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
The rains fall soft upon your fields
May green be the grass you walk on
May blue be the skies above you
May pure be the joys that surround you
May true be the hearts that love you.
    (Irish Saying)

      1. I use to make it in the past, not so much anymore…easier and less expensive to buy it… I use to make monkey bread also… 🙂

  4. Mine can be jacket potato with dairy-free cheese and baked beans, or an apple pie and custard.

The good old mash potato, pie and mushy peas with gravy, is another.
