We have tried to eat healthily and move our bodies regularly. We have also tried to say ‘no’ to events if we are too tired rather than pushing ourselves to do more!
Self-care is crucial for maintaining good mental health, so what have you been up to? If you haven’t been partaking in self-care this week, what do you aim to do for next week?

I took my bike and and drove quite some miles this week, just for excersis, without a certain destination to go to.
That sounds perfect x
Every day I do exercises for my back and for the last couple of months I’ve been learning Qi Gong! Whatever level of fitness, whatever age, mobility is key to my self-care. We’re also trying to reduce our meat intake. I read a comment recently from an American bbook which stated “Eat food (not processed). Not too much. Mostly plants”. 💐💐🙋♂️
Well done! Sounds like a lot of good options for you’

A gorgeous self care act x
Thank you for sharing!!… “Every morning your have two choices: continue to sleep with your dreams, or wake up and chase them.” (Author Unknown).. in order to chase my dreams I eat healthy and exercise… also do Tai Chi and meditation… 🙂
Until we meet again..
May you always be blessed
with walls for the wind,
a roof for the rain,
a warm cup of tea by the fire,
laughter to cheer you,
those you love near you,
and all that your heart might desire.
(Irish Saying)
Reading a chapter from the Old Testament followed by one from the New Testament every night with my bride. We alternate and then say a prayer for each other and any other concerns on our minds.
This is not a substitute for serious Bible study, but just keeps us on the same page. He keeps in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3)
I did a lunchtime meditation session at work yesterday. It was a nice brain break in the middle of the day.
That’s wonderful! I did some meditation today!
When I have the energy I try to do a fun walking workout. And I like to read or listen to an audiobook whenever I get a chance. It’s a great escape. I do need to do much better with my diet though. 🤦🏽♀️
Wonderful activities:) don’t put to much pressure on yourself, we don’t have to be perfect all of the time 🙂
I wrote toward this theme and posted it today: https://clcouch123.wordpress.com/2021/07/29/interpersonal-toxicity/. If this seems too self-promoting, then simply leave out my response (and-or the link). But the timing–with the urgency of the timing–was meaningful to me as well as synchronous.
Oops, thanks for the reminder.
Our pleasure 🙂
Thank you for asking this question. I recorded a Chakra meditation yesterday and posted it on my blog today if anyone would like to check it out. As you already know, meditation is such a powerful self care ritual, as is the expressive writing process. Ari
Wow thank you! Absolutely.
I am trying. Do so well then a moment of eating madness.
Me too! I think the intent is crucial 🙂
