Summer time has found me avoiding Kentucky’s heat and walking with my bride in every big-box store in Lex.
I have also been scouring blogs of new friends (Katie and Evee, topping the list 😉; unabashed butter), and researching eschatology, or “end times prophecy,” mostly in the Bible. I have read Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah and Revelation several times, as well as once each of the so-called “minor prophets” (due to length, not importance). And there are lots of references throughout the New Testament, and all that I am finding is really exciting and scary in different ways: exciting because “I know my Redeemer lives . . . and in my flesh, I will see God” (Job 19:25-26); scary because “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:31).

Thank you for sharing!!… I just wake up every morning and follow my heart and follow the advice of Rose Milligan… 🙂
Dust if you must, but wouldn’t it be better
to paint a picture, or write a letter,
bake a cake, or plant a seed.
Ponder the difference between want and need.
Dust if you must, but there is not much time,
with rivers to swim and mountains to climb!
Music to hear, and books to read,
friends to cherish and life to lead.
Dust if you must, but the world’s out there
with the sun in your eyes, the wind in your hair,
a flutter of snow, a shower of rain,
this day will not come round again.
Dust if you must, but bear in mind,
old age will come and it’s not kind.
And when you go, and go you must,
you, yourself, will make more dust!
(Rose Milligan)
Until we meet again..
May the sun shine all day long
Everything go right, nothing go wrong
May those you love bring love back to you
And may all the wishes you wish come true
(Irish Saying)
I like taking drives to no place in particular. Weather permitting, I guess I do that any time of year.
I love that too 🤍 except I’m never doing the driving!
Yes, photography, hiking and biking 🙂
Lovely 🥰
Yes hiking and photography and travel ..is a great way to be.
I so agree x

Sounds really lovely!
I would really like to do a couple of long walks next years but not sure yet! So I’d better get my walking shoes on and get into training! 🚶♂️🙋♂️
That’s a great idea 💡
My summertime hobby is either trying to escape the heat or trying to stay cool. My other hobbies are year-round.
That’s lovely Michele 🙂 I like having seasonal hobbies because I feel like It breaks up the seasons a bit more 🤍
I swim most every day from Mother’s Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
Gorgeous 🙂
Yoga outside…
Oh same!!
