As Told By You; December 2021

This month’s theme for December is “Winter Grief”. Winter is a time for anyone as it is, and it can be made harder by the fact that Christmas is around the corner. Christmas can be a hard time of year for those who grieve. With Christmas comes adverts filled with pressure and perfect families enjoying Christmas, on top of the short days, the cold weather and the loneliness grief can bring.

On the flip side of this, Winter can be a beautiful time. These few months may be the time you take to focus on you and love on yourself during the evenings. The holiday season may be exactly what you need to remember your loved one in a happy and fulfilling way 🤍

How does this time of year affect your grief?

For those of you who might not be aware, our As Told By You page is where you can go to express yourself, anonymously or not. Creative writing can be a hugely healing process and is a great way to vent your pain and loss, even if you use this prompt to privately write about grief.

  2. I am always impressed with how graciously you supply an outlet for some who may need it, to express their grief. May the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ bless you in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. Ephesians 1:3

  3. Thanks for sharing!.. the best way to deal with grief , no matter the time of the year, is visit precious memories stored in your heart!… 🙂

Have a wonderful holiday filled with love and happiness and until we meet again…
May your spirit only know peace
May your heart only know love
May all your dreams come true
May your life’s journey be filled with happiness
