  1. You ask such good questions. My mother had one more good Christmas. The doctors had calculated she would have died more than a year before, but she was here. The family came, there was a tree, and naturally there were presents. It was the year my sister gave me a stuffed Garfield (that I still have), and somewhere there is a photo of my mother with the Garfield (very light) upon her lap. The difficulty of the days returned, and in early June she died. But she did have that Christmas and a birthday and an Easter after. She was a fighter. Nowadays, I think we’d say that she persisted.

I don’t necessarily remember all the details; in fact, I’m sure I don’t (who does?). But every year at Christmastime the image of that photograph comes to mind.

  2. A bowl of cheese balls at Christmas and New Year, as they were Alan’s favourite! Also, we buy a special Christmas decoration every year in Alan’s memory🎄

  3. Thank you for sharing!!.. they have a special place in my heart, are with me always and I can visit with them anytime I wish… 🙂

Have a wonderful holiday filled with love and happiness and until we meet again….
May the love that you give
    Always return to you,
That family and friends are many
    And always remain true,
May your mind only know peace
    No suffering or strife,
May your heart only know love and happiness
    On your journey through life.
