This month we would like to do As Told By You a little bit differently. We would like you to focus on a theme. This month’s theme is “The Many Faces of Grief”. This can include; facets of grief that you have experienced that you believe are overlooked in the discourse surrounding grief. What is an unconventional part of grief for you?
In case you missed anything from October…
We hope that you have enjoyed reading The Grief Reality in April. It is a joy to have somewhere to talk so openly about grief, mental health and general ramblings.
I see a sign slip past almost insignificantly until I read the words “Hope Valley”.
Hello lovely people! We still have spots available for the rest of April and May!
We cannot wait to read your submissions!
I wondered if it would be okay, me living alone. Waking up, cooking, watching TV. I was afraid I would be like that man from Up.
Writing on the blog is deeply personal. I imagine I sit you down, offer you tea, hold your hand and look you in the eyes. Whilst you may read this and throw it away, or never think of it again, I think of it every day. The power of you sitting with me, and giving me space to share my thoughts.
Did you fall into the trap
Of raking memories
Kept under a wrap?
We have a few spare spots for our page As Told By You fro February and early March. We want to hear what you have to say; grief can feel so isolating, but it does not have to be at all.
Friends are like stars: you don’t always realise they are there, but they are always shining.
